Humble Beginnings


I wanted to share some tidbits about the start of my humble beginnings. I was going through old emails, and I found these email notifications from when my husband and I first created Rick Marshall’s character in late 2015. I do have some more copies elsewhere. I just need to look, but it’s nostalgic. And it shows how long I have been writing. Emily’s character was created a month before it. It’s funny because when I was roleplaying on my own, I was introducing Rick’s character, but he didn’t come online until early December 2015. A guy with the same name as Rick Marshall, followed me. See the screenshots of those email notifications in the video above.


Note! I'm going to be absent from here for a month or two. I'm finishing Hudson's story. My street team will take care of posts in the interim.

New Logos and Behind the Scenes!

Hello romance bloggers and readers.


It's almost the end of the second month of the year. See below my new company logos, I love them!




BEHIND THE SCENES!



All the characters in my books are in the same world. Some appear in each book.


I created fictitious towns in Australia for Deadly Pursuits, Affectionately Yours, and The Bad Boys of Bluebeach Bay: Gippsberry, Bluebeach Bay, and Shell Cove. The real names are: Bateau Bay, Blue Bay, Killarney Vale, Toowoon Bay; (Bluebeach Bay), Shelly Beach; (Shell Cove), Gosford; (Gippsberry). The real suburbs used in Affectionately Yours were The Entrance and the Tuggerah Lakes. The photo above was taken by me at Tuggerah Lakes, along the foreshore of Long Jetty, one of the suburbs near Shelly Beach and Toowoon Bay.


Note the above photo gave me the idea for The Bad Boys of Bluebeach Bay in 2016. Originally, I called the series, Bad to the Bone, but later changed it. The shed in the photo sets a pivotal scene in the first book of the series, and that photo will feature on the back of each standalone book.


The beach scenes for Deadly Pursuits and Affectionately Yours were all at Toowoon Bay. Elise Fitzgerald from Deadly Pursuits, parents lived at Bateau Bay.


In Em's Secret series. Charlton Brooks from Deadly Pursuits, appears in the third book. Same with the characters in Em’s Secret Series. They appear in Never Too Late.
