• This is the first book I have read from this author. The bathtub masturbation scene had my heart rate rising. Elise has a commitment phobia after being cheated on by ex-fiancé and Dom, Lachlan Harris, and thwarts attempts by Jamie Blackmore---who is also her boss---to further their relationship passed being friends-with-benefits. But then a chance meeting in an elevator with Englishman, Charlton Brooks, changes her thinking. Charlton is in Sydney to check up on his discreet escort agency---submissives made available for Doms/Dommes. Charlton knows what he wants...and what he wants is Elise---his Australian Rose. The steaminess between Elise and Charlton rises up from the pages of this story. Their relationship is tested through family emergency, murder and kidnapping. I enjoyed the character development and the plot of this story. There are many twists and turns, and I didn't see the one coming at the end. I highly recommend this book.
• This was a first for me by this author. I love how the author pulls you into the journey with Charlton and Elise. You will experience the passion, love, danger, suspense and the hot sex. Definitely made it hard to put down. I would recommend this book and author.

• Elise is a political journalist known as a seductress at her job. She's beautiful,smart and very good at getting what she wants. Once she meets hot businessman Charlton, her world is spun on its axis.
  He is commanding and likes control, which is pleasing to Elise. She had been in a bdsm relationship years ago so the fact her new man is a dominant is not much of a surprise. When two of her ex's interfere in her relationship, things take a turn for the worse. Secrets come out and safety is an issue. Charlton will do anything to protect the woman he loves but he too is faced with obstacles that threaten his new relationship.
  DEADLY PURSUITS starts out a bit slow, however as the story progresses, it keeps getting better and better. I read the last half in one sitting!. The love scenes are hot and Charlton is definitely a contender for book boyfriend of the year. Wait until you see what present he buys for Elise. MMM swoon worthy :)
• Elise is a hard working business woman who isn't going to let any man dictate to her in business or love. Lachlan broke her heart and Jamie is a friend with benefits, despite being her boss and Lachlans friend. Elise is fine with this until a chance meeting with Charlton, which sends her world upside down. Elise is no longer in contol...the question is was she ever in control to start with? This book is full of suspense, twists and turns a must read!
