• Em’s Secret is a great start to this series. Rick has set his sights in Em but she is reluctant to move forward with any type of relationship. They both have their own secrets that they want to leave in the past. Will Rick be able to push past the barrier that’s holding her back? Will this relationship end before it begins?
  This book had me in the edge of my seat. So many times I wanted to skip ahead to see what was going to happen. I definitely recommend this book and author.

  Emily Moore is a successful journalist who is trying to get on with her life after a major break up. She’s not ready to get into another relationship but when she meets lawyer Rick Marshall, she changes her mind. Rick is sexy,charming and very alpha. He has his own reasons for wanting Emily and also carries some heavy baggage. This couple must find a way to not let their past destroy their relationship.
  This book kept me reading from start to finish. I felt invested in the characters and I think other readers will too. The love scenes are pretty hot and the overall story is very well done. Highly recommended
• Emily has been living with a high level of anxiety and a secret that she has held for seven years which surrounds the death of her friend Pamela. Emily is also healing from the hands of Scott who used their relationship to get information out of her about Pamela. Rick is a lawyer with his own eternal weight that he carries around because of losing two people dear to him. When Rick is tasked with helping Scott find out what happened to Pamela, he quickly realizes that Scott has withheld what he did to Emily. I felt for Emily in her healing of mind, body, and spirit in being able to not be used by another man. She wants to trust Rick but she is unable to because he can't open up and lean on Emily to heal from his past. A crack develops in their relationship when Rick moves to New York for his career and is unable to say the three words Emily is longing to hear. This is book #1 of "Em's Secret" series and is off to a great start. This book has romance, suspense, and hot scenes that will scorch your eyes. I can feel that book #2 will be another roller coaster ride of emotion which I am ready for. Bring it on!
